What would the Scouts or Girls Brigaders of Gisborne think of the camp menu? Where are the sausages and lumpy porridge? What on earth is this ‘Moroccan lamb tagine, spiced casserole with fruit, nuts and couscous, served with a fresh garden salad’? It may not sound like tramping food, but it is what happens when a dedicated foodie sets up a walking track on the family farm and gives it the focus ‘taste the experience.’
